URGENT!!  Temporary Foster Home Needed

Bugsy Siegel is seeking a temporary foster home from Sept. 3 - 12th.  He is being neutered on Friday and we are looking for someone to take care of him after his operation until Sept. 12th.  His regular foster family is willing to take him back on the 12th.  If you can foster Bugsy, or know of someone who can, please contact Monika at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Bugsy Siegel is about 1 year old, friendly with people, love car rides and is microchipped.

Also, we have the following dogs which are desperately waiting for a new home:  River; Annie (who has separation anxiety and should go home with another dog); Kado; JoJo; Rollie; Suzie; Koala and Fievel.  Zeus is also anxious to find his new fosters or forever family as he has been waiting a long time.  Please visit our website or the page on dogs available for adoption to see these lovely dogs.

Caring for a dog who has no home and bringing it into your loving environment is great stepping stone in helping that dog find their forever family. The majority of dogs in rescue have been abused or neglected and need patience and understanding when brought into your home. Some basic training, such as potty training, is required as for many of these dogs this is their first opportunity inside a home.

At Good Dog Rescue we strive to make the best possible foster match taking into consideration your space and lifestyle but we are not infallible and emergencies will arise where a dog may need a different foster fit for them.  The foster experience can be trying at times but few things in life are more rewarding than the day a foster dog finds a forever family.

If you are dedicated to helping a homeless dog find a home and have room in your home, life and heart, please consider fostering.

We understand that not everyone has the lifestyle or home equipped to take in a foster dog, therefore if you are unable to foster, please consider volunteering at our shelter.
