Pooch Photo Event at Pampered Pet - August 21, 2010
Had lots of pampered pets take photos with their owners in support of Good Dog Rescue. Thank you to Pampered Pet located in Orleans at 900 Watters Street.

Adoption Day at Wag Pet Store, 1071 Bank Street, Ottawa We had another sucessful adoption day. Thanks to all our volunteers.
Garage Sale for Good Dog Rescue - July 31, 2010
We had an very successful garage sale and raised $500 for our Good Dogs. Thank you for all those who volunteered and came out to the event!
Adoption Day at Global Pet Food- July 17, 2010
Our event at Global Pet Foods went very well. We had several people who showed interest in the dogs available for adoption. As well, interest was shown in volunteering. We raised some money and would like to thank Angie and the other staff at Global Pet Foods for all their assistance. Angie was on hand to provide caricatures of some of our doggies, click here to view photo of Blackie and Rollie.

Photos with Santa - December 6, 2009
We hosted a very successful Photos with Santa fundraiser at the Barrhaven Bark & Fitz on Sunday, December 6, 2009. We raised $730 in support of Good Dog Rescue through the sale of santa photos and the 2010 calendars. Thanks to all those who participated!
Photos with Santa "Claws" - Saturday, November 14, 2009
Santa came to volunteer his time for the Photos with Santa "Claws" event, he came prepared to take photos with any and all dogs, Santa loves animals! Event activities included: doggie play zone, bake sale, tarot card reading, nail trimming, microchipping and a table of amazing items from Barrhaven Bark and Fitz. We raised $350 in support of Good Dog Rescue, thank you for all those who participated and a special thank you to the volunteers!
1st Annual "Pins for Pets" - Sunday, October 18, 2009
Thank you to all who participated in our first annual "Pins for Pets". We had an extremely successful day, raising $1500 to support the dogs in our care. A special thanks to Walkley Bowling, all the donors for the silent auction and the volunteers. See you next year!
In the News!
On Monday, January 18, Good Dog Rescue appeared on Daytime Ottawa for a second appearance, we brough with us 4 lab/shepherd puppies who are available for adoption. We had the goal of raising money for little Halfback who has a shattered femur and needs surgery.
On Wednesday, November 11, 2009 we had the pleasure of appearing at A Channel alongside Bark and Fitz Barrhaven to speak about the Photos with Santa "Claws" event.
On Thursday, November 5, 2009 we appeared on Daytime Ottawa on Rogers TV to speak about the rescue and the Photos with Santa "Claws" fundraising event.
